Overview

The 'Pharmaceutical Allowance' is a non-taxable payment for eligible single people and for each eligible member of a couple.  Refer to the link below to see who is eligible.

From 20 September 2009 the Pharmaceutical Allowance has been included in the fortnightly Pension Supplement for those eligible to receive the Pension Supplement. Those not eligible to receive the Pension Supplement have continued to be paid the rates set out below.
